Super Easy, Very Yummy Pie
This is a recipe that I got from the checker at Wal-Mart. She told me a story for just about everything I purchased last Sunday. When she was scanning my Kool-Aid, she asked if I knew how to make a pie using it. I had never heard of such a thing and quite honestly thought it couldn't really be that good. Boy was I wrong. The one I made was delicious and I can't wait to try another flavor.
1 graham cracker crust (just buy one, save yourself the trouble)
1 can of Eagle Brand
1 tub of Cool Whip
1 package of your favorite flavor of Kool-Aid
Mix the bottom 3 ingredients in a bowl and fill the crust with the mixture. Freeze for a couple of hours and PRESTO~ENJOY!
I made a pink lemonade variety. I was thinking along the lines of a lemon ice-box pie, except we really prefer pink lemonade around here. If you try a different flavor that is good let me know, because I can't wait to try another one. I think the checker said cherry or strawberry was her favorite, but I am not for sure.

My Red-headed Step-child

Ok-so I swore I would never let my child run around like this, but I guess I will have to eat my words. The whole running around in a diaper thing, etc... One of our friends called us over for burgers and hot dogs with all the kids. I was forewarned that the entertainment for the kiddos was a big pile of dirt in the back yard and to dress accordingly. So, we donned our play clothes and shoes and off we went. Good thing Grant was about to outgrow his, because I don't think they are salvagable. My boys were filthy when we got done, but they had a blast. Hey, boys will be boys. I guess I will have to get used to this dirt stuff. Posted by Carmen at 5/07/2008 04:05:00 PM 5 comments
Ponder this... Every week Matt and I do the Wal-Mart shopping together. Well, with the boys-which makes for an interesting trip everytime. Anyway... Every week when we get ready to leave I am just parched. The drinks in the coolers by the checkout are just calling my name. Sometimes it hits me before this point and I want to get a juice or a chocolate milk in the back of the store. But, it NEVER fails, I am ALWAYS thirsty at Wal-Mart. Matt is really not one to purchase drinks or pull through Sonic for just a drink(too tight I guess). He just usually would rather wait till he gets home to get a drink. However, I am almost always able to talk him into splitting a drink with me after the trip because he is thirsty too! He likes to make fun of me for thinking this, but I really think he agrees with me, he just won't admit it. We all know casinos pump oxygen into them to keep you going. My theory is that Wal-Mart sucks the moisture out of the air so that you will be so thirsty when you leave you will give them ONE MORE DOLLAR and buy a drink on your way out. So I ask this??? Does going to Wal-Mart make you thirsty too?

I love dance. I love to dance and I love to watch dancing. This was a popular video that went around a while back, but I recently happened upon it again and thought I would add it to my blog. Enjoy!
