Spring Break

Yeah! Spring Break! Well, Spring Break is half over. We have had a blast. We have really taken it quite easy. We have gone to the duck pond every day to feed the ducks, visited a choo choo train, had a few play dates, snuggled together on the couch, played in the yard, and just all out had a good time. Grant and I will be leaving tomorrow for Branson (without Matt and Rhett). We figured Rhett wouldn't have as much fun shopping as he would "hanging" with his daddy at home. Matt is excited about getting to make all the decisions without boring ole mom around. I know they will have a blast, but I will miss my boys. Anyway, this week has given me a sneak peek of my summer to come and I can't wait! 37 days of school left when we return.

Rhett's First Concert

We took Rhett to his first concert over the weekend. We went to see The Wiggles. It was great. We made a day of it and spent the day in Memphis with some friends who were taking their little boy to the show too. He hardly took his eyes off the stage. His favorite thing to do was yell, "Wake up Jeff". Those of you Wiggle fans know exactly what I am talking about. We had a wiggly good time.

Let's Get Started

I am so excited to start a blog for our family. This is something I have wanted to do for a long time since so many of our friends and family do not live near us. I am hoping that this will be a great way to keep you up to date with what is going on in our lives. If I start to slack off, please e-mail me and tell me to get busy. I tend to do that when the new wears off of things.
Just to update you all: The McDonald family is crazier than ever. Rhett is in full swing with the 2's. He is so entertaining and totally keeps us on our toes. He says and does the funniest things. Grant is now 4 months old. He is so advanced--could you have guessed? Mostly he just sits and grins at us, but is still very entertaining as well. Matt is working for Townsends and loves his job and I am teaching kindergarten and love doing just that if I must work. So I guess I really have 19 kids-haha.
I hope you all enjoy our new blog.
