Super Easy, Very Yummy Pie

This is a recipe that I got from the checker at Wal-Mart. She told me a story for just about everything I purchased last Sunday. When she was scanning my Kool-Aid, she asked if I knew how to make a pie using it. I had never heard of such a thing and quite honestly thought it couldn't really be that good. Boy was I wrong. The one I made was delicious and I can't wait to try another flavor.

1 graham cracker crust (just buy one, save yourself the trouble)
1 can of Eagle Brand
1 tub of Cool Whip
1 package of your favorite flavor of Kool-Aid

Mix the bottom 3 ingredients in a bowl and fill the crust with the mixture. Freeze for a couple of hours and PRESTO~ENJOY!

I made a pink lemonade variety. I was thinking along the lines of a lemon ice-box pie, except we really prefer pink lemonade around here. If you try a different flavor that is good let me know, because I can't wait to try another one. I think the checker said cherry or strawberry was her favorite, but I am not for sure.

My Red-headed Step-child

Ok-so I swore I would never let my child run around like this, but I guess I will have to eat my words. The whole running around in a diaper thing, etc... One of our friends called us over for burgers and hot dogs with all the kids. I was forewarned that the entertainment for the kiddos was a big pile of dirt in the back yard and to dress accordingly. So, we donned our play clothes and shoes and off we went. Good thing Grant was about to outgrow his, because I don't think they are salvagable. My boys were filthy when we got done, but they had a blast. Hey, boys will be boys. I guess I will have to get used to this dirt stuff.
My grandpa at one time or another called me, my sisters, and my cousins red-headed step-children. Although none of us had red hair like him, I think he always wished one of us would have taken the Ellis red hair gene. I know he would have been so proud of Grant's red hair. So grandpa-this one's for you. You now officially have a red-headed step-child.
