The rains came down and the floods came up...
I thought we were going to have to build an ark this week. The White River got out of its' banks higher than I have ever seen it. Those who were around refer back to the flood of "82. Although, this wasn't apparently quite as bad. The water did not cover the bridge, but sure was close. There were more people out driving around for a couple of days just looking at the water. Our sitter lives across the river, so I had to cross several times over the course of the flood stage. It was very interesting to see how quickly the water came up and to what level, and then how quickly it went back down. It really was quite amazing.

Happy Anniversary! That flood was crazy, it's too bad the water was down so much by the time I got to come. I'm so glad you're working out...... will you be ready to do a 5k in about 6 months? Don't forget to do your knees & elbows! TTYL, Sara
